Sealy Street Studio

A sunny, warm accommodation, Sealy Street Studio is perfect for a couples getaway or a solo retreat. In a fantastic central location, it is set amidst beautiful old trees on a quiet street in the heart of Tekapo. A secluded private courtyard with outdoor seating provides a glimpse of Lake Tekapo and the stunning cottage gardens of the neighboroughing Aldourie Lodge.

The contemporary studio includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area if you wish to enjoy your own meals. Alternatively wander over the iconic Tekapo footbridge to the village eateries just a 5 minute walk away. The Church of the Good Shepherd is located on the lakefront a few minutes walk along the riverside from the studio.

A comfortable queen bed, sitting area, designer ensuite & full laundry facilities provide all you need for a relaxing, independant stay.

The studio is attached to a holiday home, but is private with its own entrance and off-street parking.

This studio is located in a perfect spot, allowing for a pleasant walk into town. The beauty of autumn evenings here is particularly striking. Despite being close to the road, the environment around the studio remains serene, with morning bird songs and convenient parking right at the front door. The modern amenities and charming wooden decor made it feel like a cosy home away from home. We slept soundly and felt refreshed in the morning. We highly recommend this place to future guests!

Sealy St. Studio is an incredibly cute studio in Tekapo. We really enjoyed our stay! The location is a short walk from town across the bridge. Our host also gave us an amazing recommendation to see “the village crazy man”, Billy the Baird, just behind Dark Sky Project. He tells you stories, reads poems, and points out constellations using his laser pointer! We loved our location and stay in Lake Tekapo!
