Designed with absolute comfort in mind, the house offers two beautiful living spaces. The first is light-filled and open, with a cosy wood burner and stunning views of the surrounding natural environment. The second features rich timber and a soft skylight glow, and can be fully opened onto spacious decks on both sides through striking steel doors (please note, the open fire in the photos is not usable).
Air-conditioning and underfloor heating keeps the home the perfect temperature throughout, ensuring a welcoming retreat in every season. The wonderfully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze and even includes a Nespresso for your morning coffee (BYO pods).
With three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, Alpine Retreat is perfectly suited for families, couples or groups. Children of all sizes will love the versatile bunk room, which also features a built-in desk. Gas hot water means you never run out, and a fully equipped laundry has also been thought of.

Such a lovely home to enjoy our time in Tekapo. It was cozy and warm, and had amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Plenty of outdoor space for the kids to make snowmen. Would highly recommend to anyone (including families).

The home in lake tekapo was an amazing end to our 2 week trip! the beds were comfortable and even though it was cold outside the bathroom floors were heated and so were the towel rods. The star gazing from the porch was out of this world! Thank you!

The house is absolutely gorgeous with a view 360 degree, 24 hours! Great stargazing location, darker than Church of the Good Shepherd area. Heat has been turned on in advance so it is warm when we arrive. Facilities enable a comfortable stay, with hot water enough for 7 people to shower. Staff are very helpful with in-time communication. 10-min walking distance to Lake Tekapo. Everything is perfect. Will stay again if I ever get the chance to come to Lake Tekapo!

This property took our breath away from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The home itself was even more beautiful than the images (if that is even possible) with peaceful and private surroundings and stunning 360 views. Beautiful stay, beautiful house and prime location in Tekapo. Close to everything you need especially stargazing! The night sky was fantastic here. The house was big and comfortable, our kids love the bunk beds and the toys/ books around the accommodation. Kitchen utensil had everything we needed.
