Olive Sanctuary is the perfect place to rest, rejuvenate & reflect in peaceful surroundings​.  Located​ within walking distance of the lakefront & Tekapo village, this modern, well​ designed home captures the sunrise over the Two Thumb​ mountain ​range, and the evening sunset over the Ben Ohau ​range. ​ Full length windows allow you to take in the stunning views while staying ​c​osy inside on cooler days, and two large decks provide the perfect space to​ soak up the warmth of the sunny days Tekapo is known for. ​ ​O​n clear nights, ​the International Dark Sky reserve can be admired from the privacy of the deck.

Upstairs you will find the living spaces: a ​spacious kitchen, dining and living area that opens onto both decks, as well as a cosy media room where you can retreat to enjoy a movie. ​ The living area is kept cosy with a heat pump​ and air conditioning,​ and a second toilet is available. 

Downstairs are three well-appointed bedrooms, all equipped with panel heaters for winter, with two also featuring ceiling fans for the hotter summer months. The bunk room will be a favourite with children, as each bed has its own reading light and shelf for books and toys.  A family-sized bathroom with shower & bathtub is located downstairs, along with full laundry facilities, including a front-loading washer and a heat pump dryer. ​  A spacious entryway provides storage for shoes, boots and coats. The carport is available for storing ski gear in winter and bikes, kayaks and paddleboards in summer.​

2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY –  this may increase during peak periods. One night stay requests may be accepted depending on availability, and would incur a surcharge.
