A luxurious, private holiday home, Hillcrest Lodge A has stunning panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountain ranges. Sunny, spacious and thoughtfully designed to make the most of its spectacular setting, it’s a wonderful choice for families or small groups looking for a relaxing alpine escape. The generous living area has been cleverly designed around the views, with two separate spaces providing plenty of room to relax while an open-plan kitchen sits between them. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee, preparing dinner together or simply sitting back and taking in the scenery, the views are always part of the experience.
The home is warm and cosy year-round, with a heat pump and log burner fitted with a child-friendly fireguard. Three spacious bedrooms & bathrooms are conveniently located across both levels – one of each downstairs and two of each upstairs.
Outdoor living is just as appealing, with seating areas on two sides of the house. This means there’s always a sheltered spot to enjoy the sunshine, admire the views or relax outdoors throughout the day. When you feel like staying in, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, including a table tennis table, books, games and DVDs. The internal-access garage is particularly handy during winter, providing a convenient place to return to after a day skiing or exploring the mountains.
For golf enthusiasts, the local golf course is practically on your back doorstep. With its exceptional views, generous living spaces & multiple outdoor areas, Hillcrest Lodge A provides a wonderful base for enjoying everything Lake Tekapo and the Mackenzie Country have to offer.

Awesome location and views , beautiful common spaces both inside and outside. The back patio is a perfect location for star gazing. Plenty of privacy with bedrooms on both levels and all with attached bathrooms. Great fun playing some of the board games provided.
